About Me

I’m a web developer living outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I work as an IT Specialist at IBM, developing Rich Internet Applications, Information Architecture, and IT Consulting.

This site was developed by me as a place to share ideas and resources, as well as expose projects. Most projects are open source, and a few are commercial. As you know, feedback is crucial to improvement, any comments are appreciated whether you agree with me or not.

I began my career while in college working freelance as a PHP and CMS developer. After graduating with a degree in Finance and working as a Financial Analyst, I decided to go back to my true calling of web development.

In late 2003 I switched from freelance work to contract work beginning with EMC located in Westborough, Massachusetts. After which I moved to the city and contracted at Houghton Mifflin in Boston.

In early 2005 I again switched from contract work to fulltime. Moving from Houghton Mifflin to a small start-up education firm called Xplana Learning. I worked with some exceptional developers, Keith Peters, Todd Anderson, Ashley Atkins, and Chuck Freedman to name a few.

Moving away from the educational space, I bounced to another start-up, Gotuit Media, located in Woburn, MA. I was responsible for Information Architecture, design, and development of the company’s product, an interactive online video playback system, like youtube, but for professional content.

I am currently happily employed at IBM in Cambridge, MA as an IT Specialist.
